Pokemon September League Challenge | Friday 18th September | Registration from 5:00pm - Start: 6.00pm What is a Pokémon League Challenge? A League Challenge is an official, entry-level Play! Pokémon tournament — the perfect starting point for competitive Pokémon TCG play. Open to all ages and skill levels, from first-time tournament players to seasoned competitors chasing Championship Points (CP) on their journey to bigger events. Format League Challenges are played in the current Standard format. Make sure your deck only includes cards with the correct regulation marks — check pokemon.com for the latest card legalities before you come along. Rounds are Swiss (everyone plays every round — no sudden elimination!), with the number of rounds based on attendance. What do I need to bring? A legal Standard format deck - A completed deck list - Your Pokémon Player ID (free via a Pokémon Trainer Club account at pokemon.com) - Deck Checks Deck checks are part of all Play! Pokémon events. Tournament staff will verify that your deck matches your submitted list, is legal for Standard play, and that your cards and sleeves are free of any markings. Have your deck list filled out and ready at registration! - Prizing Top finishers in each age division earn Play!
