Star Wars Unlimited: Icons - Bring a Leader Draft - Friday 20th November

Star Wars Unlimited: Icons – Bring Your Own Leader Draft

Date: Friday 20th November 2026
Start Time: 6:00 PM
Entry Fee: £20 per player
Format: Icons Booster Draft – Special Event Rules

Join us at Sin City Comics & Gaming for a special Star Wars Unlimited draft event with a twist! Bring your own Leaders, draft cards from five Icons booster packs and build a deck to take on your opponents. With the freedom to use Leaders from any set and some special deck-building rules, this is your chance to try something a little different!

1. Bring Your Own Leaders

• Each player may bring two Leader cards from any Star Wars Unlimited set.
• Leaders are permitted regardless of whether they are banned or restricted in normal play.
• Both Leaders must be declared to the event organiser before the draft begins.
• Once declared, your two Leaders are locked in and cannot be changed during the event.

2. Booster Packs and Drafting

• Each player will receive five Icons booster packs.
• The draft will follow the standard pick-and-pass format.
• Players open a booster pack, select one card to keep, then pass the remaining cards to the next player as directed by the organiser.
• This process continues until all cards from the pack have been drafted, before moving on to the next pack.
• Leader cards remain in the booster packs and are drafted like any other card. Leaders are not removed before drafting, so players must decide whether to pick a Leader when one appears.

3. Choosing Your Leader

At the end of the draft, players may choose their Leader from the following options:

• Either of the two Leaders they declared before the draft.
• Any Leader they successfully drafted from their Icons booster packs.

If you draft a Leader you want to use, you are free to choose it instead of either of your declared Leaders. You may use any Leader you draft, regardless of which set it comes from or whether it is banned in normal play.

Important: You must draft a Leader to use it as a drafted option. Simply seeing a Leader in a pack does not give you access to it unless you select it during the draft.

Each player uses one Leader for their deck.

4. Deck Construction Rules

Decks must be built using the cards drafted during the event, alongside the chosen Leader and the standard resources permitted under the draft rules.

• Minimum deck size: 30 cards.
• Maximum deck size: No maximum.
• Aspect penalties: Normal aspect penalties apply. Cards outside your Leader's aspects can still be included, but you must account for the appropriate aspect penalties.
• Multiple copies: There is no three-copy limit. You may include as many copies of a card as you drafted, provided they are legal for your deck under the event rules.
• Leader restrictions: Any Leader drafted or declared under these event rules may be used, even if banned in normal constructed play.

5. Gameplay

• Matches will be played using the standard Star Wars Unlimited gameplay rules, except where these event rules specify otherwise.
• The event organiser will explain the round structure, pairings and match timings before play begins.
• Please follow the organiser's instructions throughout the event.

May the Force Be With You!

Choose your Leaders carefully, draft wisely and build something unexpected from the Icons set. Will you stick with the Leaders you brought, or will the perfect Leader appear in a pack at just the right moment?

Five packs. Two declared Leaders. One chance to build your ultimate draft deck.
